Landlubbers can also thoroughly enjoy a day on the water in Alexandria Bay at Scenic View Park. Located on Sisson St. adjacent to the hospital, this park is the best-kept secret in the Bay. There's a sandy beach with a lifeguard on duty, acres of picnic areas, barbecue grills and a covered pavilion with restrooms and a children's play area. You can take a walk across the mini version of the Thousand Island Bridge to Casino Island also located at Scenic View Park. From there you will be able to spend the afternoon watching the boats go by and catch a freighter or two. In the evenings enjoy the beautiful sunsets the St. Lawrence River has to offer.
